how does one know if BTTF from DDD is the updated version?

i would like to buy this set so that i can be for certain it's the updated version and i don't have to go through the hassle of sending it for replacement. else if i can't be assured through online retails, i might as well buy from bestbuy BM.

anyone know about deepdiscountdvd? their price of $30 seems ok.

Cross your fingers (seriously I don't think anybody has spotted a V2 set anywhere yet. Glad I bought the misframed one and got the bad discs replaced).

You don't. There's no way you are ever going to be able to confirm this from an online store, unfortunately.

In addition, there has yet to be a single, confirmed sighting of the updated set at retail (either 'live' or online). There's no indication that Universal has even begun to ship these to stores yet.

Your best bet is to either check local B&M stores for a V2 copy, or to wait until you hear reports of online stores shipping out updated copies.

*bump*

Has anyone seen a V2 version yet, from a B&M or online?
