I hope it'll come out soon, but who knows, if I were to bet I'd say it will eventually come out from a low budget company on dvd.

Everybody needs this movie on dvd, not just some, but all!!

I would buy it... just out of curiosity. I was a young kid when Garbage Pail Kids stuff was out, but I remember all the controversy. I know they supposedly got sued by the Cabbage Patch Kids people, so I don't know.

Maybe we can get...

The Garbage Pail Kids: The Criterion Collection

a little of topic, but I saw a report on TV somewhere that they are re-introducing Garbage pal Kids, with a new Star "Hayy Potty", a take off of Harry Potter. They showed a couple of the new cards they are introdcing, and they were halirous. I would so buy this DVD, I have it on VHS somewhere.

For the love of God, please don't buy this on DVD without watching it first. I had very fond memories of it from the 80s. I recently downloaded a copy and watched it and spent the entire running time praying for it to end. One of the worst movies I have ever sat through. I like some crappy movies, but this one is horrid.

I know someone who knows someone who just bought the 35mm reel for under $10. Also said it was the lousiest piece of garbage ever.

I still have some of the stickers from way back when. Classic stuff.

I never got a chance to see this film, it sucks because a used to be able to get the video somewhere, I was very young when these things came out.

Yes, Entertainment Weekly has reported that a new lineup of cards (or stickers, whatever) are on their way out!

i used to work at Hollywood Video, and whenever i had to close i would put this in at around 11pm. Whoever worked with me wouldn't shut up how much they hated it until we closed. But being acting manager when i closed, it was my say what got put in to watch. I actually got into an arguement with a worker over it, and i ended up sending them home an hour early, cause they wouldn't shut up(usually most people don't see that as a bad thing but this guy did).
So its been a little over 4 years since i saw it, but i still loved it then as well. Bring on the dvd please.

Oh man, Garbage Pail Kids. When I was in 3rd grade we would be suspended if we were caught with the cards at school. Good times!

If there's an insert, they should make it look like a piece of gum.

I found a card shop in the backalleys of Chinatown that still had some GBK packs around 5 years ago. I bought 10 packs. Immedietely, I opened one pack to check them out and instictively ate the stick of gum without thinking... I cut the roof of my mouth, it was so stale!

Film, there was a store by me a year or so ago that had the cards. I bought a few packs and told me sister I would give her $5 to eat the gum. Well, she did. 2 minutes later she was spitting up blood because it cut her roof as well. Never again.

Yuck. That's kind of a sick story. Hope if was worth the $5.

Make it look like? Hell they should make it a piece of gum.. The gum that came with the old cards was like cardboard anyways
