Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Where the hell is it?

My understanding was that this dvd was released on September 9, but it's completely AWOL. I've checked video stores. Nothing. Not on shelves. Not on the records to be available for rent. I look for a review here...Nothing. Not even a mention. Am I in the Twilight Zone here? Did I just dream this movie or is it somehow lost in space somewhere? I feel like I am in some crazy cuckoo world.

Not sure what to tell you. I've seen it at Best Buy and other retail stores and rented it last week from Hollywood Video, so it is out there. Guess just have to be patient and persistant and it will show up eventually.

I watched it from Netflix last week, absolutely loved it. (Sorry if I'm twisting the screws... )

I got mine from Amazon... Great film! Isn't it coming back to theatres soon? Maybe that is why it is a little hard to find at Brick and Morter places.

I didn't see it at Walmart, they were out of stock. Ebay is a good way to go..seen it cheap there (sealed too) and not from Malaysia.

Nope...they already had a rerelease in the summer... it was extremely limited, but the film didn't perform too well during this limited rerelease, so the larger scale rerelease was scrapped.... I for one, absolutely LOVE this movie... brilliant.

Yeah, wasn't the limited rerelease just a few weeks before the DVD release? I believe so. Just three weeks I recall. Had it done well in the theatres, would that have meant pushing the DVD back? There were ads for it everywhere for a September 9th release. Anyway, my local Best Buy (Arlington Virginia) has plenty of copies. I scooped one up. It's one of my favorite films of 2003. And as an FYI, Sam Rockwell is just as good in "Matchstick Men". He's turning out to be one of my favorite actors. In a perfect world, he'd get a Best Actor nomination for "Confessions". I know, keep dreaming.

Daytripper,

"Confessions" is a 2002 movie, not a 2003 movie.

Come on, that's kind of pushing it. A limited release on 12/31/02 (in NY and LA only). Then it was released in my area (Washington D.C.), and everywhere else in the U.S., almost a full month later. So for me, it was a 2003 movie

Have we established that it's everywhere except for where Boot shops?
