Punch Drunk Love 1 Disc In December

Saw on dvdpricesearch that scheduled for release is a one disc edition of Punch Drunk Love. My guess is that the 2 disc Superbit will be discontinued. No specs were released for the 1 disc that I saw.

i read somewhere, I believe on DVDFile, that the 1 disc is the same as disc one from the 2 disc release.....i don't see the point in these companies chopping all these 2 disc sets down, but i guess it saves them money or something

It's a good way of reducing the MSRP to attract customers that didn't "love" the film, but who will pick it up for $20 or less. Most fans have already bought it anyway.

I don't. I was hoping for a price drop eventually. Now with a one disc on the horizon, there's no hope for that.

Copies in great shape are showing up used right now for $15 or less. I picked one up last week for under $10.

PDL is available through Columbia House with an enrollment. Anyone not using CH and visiting the Clubs forum should take another look at their DVD buying habits... Brand new sealed for < $8.00 avg / < $5.00 enrollment.

As for this one disc... Eh... The extras on disc two are very weak IMHO.

youre not missing much on the jam packed 20 minute second disc of extras, apart from a funny pseduo-commercial from the mattress man. it should have been one disc from day one.

actually now that i think about it, the deleted scene with adam sandler and the kid is hysterical. its a shame that will be gone from the one disc.

Yeah, but where? I mean, usually you have to buy something else to get the good deals at Blockbuster and Hollywood. I'll give 'em a look tho. Same goes for CH though. Last time I checked it wasn't available, but now it seems to be. Although I can't think of anything else I want right now. I have a list, but I still haven't completed one of my other accounts. I know that you can have two open, but I don't remember any of my previous account #'s. Hmm. We'll see.

With code 23e you don't need to know any previous account number.
