Attack Killer Tomatoes Question????

Ok, I know this was just released on DVD, but there are 2 different editions. Is it worth the extra $6 or more for the 2-Disc edition???? What exactly is on the extra disc? I'm usually nto into extras that much, and honestly, I have never saw this movie, but it seemed like a good/cheesy movie.

Also, is the sequel worth owning? I see there are 2 of those, one by itself, and the other as a double feature with Return to Horror High....

THANKS!

A full list of the extras for the special edition can be found in my review. The standard release is a few bucks cheaper, but it only comes with a trailer. The special edition, despite the inaccurate specs floating around, is not a two-disc release.

I'm far, far too big a fan of the first sequel, and I'd highly recommend it, especially at the bargain bin price tag.

My ranking for the series would be:

1) Return of the Killer Tomatoes
2) Killer Tomatoes Eat France
3) Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
4) Killer Tomatoes Strike Back

"Return..." and "...Eat France" are both pretty funny, "Attack..." has its moments but is pretty dated, and "...Strike Back" is absolutely dismal.

It is a two disc set if you count the soundtrack CD as the second disc.

That's not a standard part of the release, though. Isn't that Best Buy exclusive? My set didn't come with a soundtrack, at least.

Can someone confirm this (the Best Buy exclusive part)?

I haven't picked it up yet... but I'll definitely do so at BB if this is true.

do you also get the cd through bestbuy.com, or is it only through the store?

Traditionally, yes, you get the bonus stuff when you order online too. But ask anyone who tried that with the Die Another Day promotion and you'll find out that isn't always the case.

Since the CD is actually including INSIDE the package, you have a darn good chance. But I picked mine up in-store anyway, just to be safe.

This is a FANTASTIC release. I'm very happy with the attention to quality that was put in. Definitely recommended.
