I am getting the Christopher Guest collection. I have been waiting for forever to get Waiting For Guffman and Best In Show, and now I get to get those two plus the great A Mighty Wind for under $20 each.

There are some "will eventually gets" on the list, but Eddie Izzard - Circle is an absolute must . . . I already have two pre-orders just waiting to be fulfilled.
For any of you who don't know this guy, how are these for recommendations . . . John Cleese called him "the funniest man in England" and Robin Williams has been quoted as saying the he is his favorite comedian (I believe RW and his wife had some credits on his "Dress To Kill" tour). Not having seen the DVD version of "Circle", I feel more comfortable recommending "Dress To Kill" as a Izzard "starter DVD", but I have no doubts that "Circle" will not disappoint. I saw the tour live and remember thinking hilarious, but it was 3 years ago and I'm getting old.

Well, only thing I was interested in today was They Live (although I thought I'd look for Shoah, even though its not something I'd blind buy...just to see if it was available)...and I could not find either of these flicks at Best Buy. Upon looking it up on the computer, I was told They Live would be available in the first or second week of October.
Went next door to the Borders, who only had one copy of They Live, but could not be found despite an exhaustive search. I went ahead and ordered one from them for $12.99...not too shabby a price...I thought I saw it was to be going for 14.99?
Oh well....
