Howard Stern uncut

What is it? That TV show thing he had for awhile?

I was thinking about the one he had on FOX, that wasn't just a broadcast of the radio show, but also a lot of behind the scenes stuff. Other than blurring out nudity and cuss words it seemed pretty damned UNCUT to me. I couldn't believe the pornographic nature of the show. I've yet to see anything surpass it.

How about the show he had in the 80s on Saturday nights on WWOR?
I used to watch that every week. That was my first exposure to him as I have never lived in an area that carried his radio show.

The DVD will be called Howard Stern's Filthy Dirty Tape (or DVD, I guess). It will be some of the highlights of the E! show w/ the nudity no longer pixellated. I am looking forward to it.

Nope. The *only*Stern tv show worth a darn is the old WWOR one. I'd give my left nut for that series! The 'radio booth' tv shows are pretty lame--no need to buy the DVD IMO, or even watch the show, if you're gonna listen to the am broadcast.
*PLEASE* come out with the old channel 9 show!!!

I used to have several episodes on tape until I lent them to an old friend - only to never see them again.

He's always talking about doing it. I bet it never comes to light. Everyday something cool happens, he's like that's gonna have to be on the tape. At the rate he adds things, it will never be done..
I would also like to get this, should be pretty entertaining.

Stern swears, -he mentioned it again this week, -that the disc will be available for Christmas. I, too, have my doubts, -he talks a good show but has such issues about "quality control" and what he thinks is a fair buck for his work that its hard to get much product from him at all (it often takes him so long to put something together that the deal falls apart long before it would be finished). The stated problem with this disc was that there was so much material and no real plan on how to present it: also, there was a matter of finding someone who would edit it to his satisfaction. Still, I'd buy the disc (or set of discs) in a heartbeat (unless the price was outrageous, -I've never bothered with that $50 "Eraserhead" disc).
Stern's problem with the old "Channel 9" (syndicated) show is that Channel 9 still owns the rights. So hold on to your old tapes...

As I said in a post earlier this year on this topic, someone will ask about it and his stock response is always "it's going to be great, we're working on it but it is a much more difficult project than we thought, etc." He did announce the name of it recently but again, as an earlier post said, I'll believe it when it is in my dvd player.
