For some reason, Fraggle Rock always scared me. Maybe cuz they lived underground (in a cave?) and I always associated underground with Hell... Hmm.

I too loved this show, but I'm not sure how well it would age.

I loved fraggle rock growing up. I would probably be embarrased for owning a dvd set of it. But I could say it's for my kids...
I don't have any kids. Bad plan.
I miss fraggle rock.

Fraggle Rock was great. I'd buy a set if it came out. I saw it when I was in college. My roommate and I would watch it, and we told some friends about it. They started coming over to see it. Pretty soon we had to tape every episode and our friends would come over on the weekends and watch the latest FR.
Then we started thinking about it too much. The fraggles eat radishes and Doozer constructions. The Gorgs eat stuff they grow in their garden. The rats eat garbage that's thrown on the trash heap. BUT WHAT DO DOOZERS EAT???? They don't eat their own constructions. The have no food sorce! So we started an organization: Food for Ecologically Endangerd Doozers or FEED for short. We had plans of writing Henson and asking him to fill in htis gap, but we never did.
Gee, even in college I had too much time on my hands.

There are usually a few episodes to be found on Kazaa and other media search engines. I was able to d/l 6 episodes and make VCDs out of them. They didn't turn out amazing, but were good enough to watch. You may want to give that a try.

I used to love FR as a kid. I would love to see it again just to see if it's really as good as I remember. It's a Jim Henson production like The Muppets, so I can only assume it's good.

Here's a petition that's been going around to bring Fraggle Rock to DVD Fraggle Rock Petition
With all the latest muppet releases lately, I don't doubt a Fraggle Rock release is too far away. Let's hope.

Around ten years ago, I found four or five VHS Fraggle Rock tapes in a bargain bin and bought them for my son at about two bucks a pop. I can see Jim Henson Productions re-releasing these down the road as a two-disc DVD set, just in time for my daughter to enjoy them!
