r3 Black Hawk Down SUPERBIT -- Region FREE!!
So...I finally get around to watching my r3 Black Hawk Down Superbit last nite. [great flick
]
I turn on my DVD player. Pop out disc 1 of Futurama r1 that I was watching. I unfold the BHD package and grab disc 1. Put it in the tray and close it.
Now, with my DVD player you have to use the remote to select which region the DVD is..
But before I can do this, I run to get something to drink. When I get back, the Columbia/Tri-Star logos are playing, followed by the menu! So I grab the disc and run to the other room to check it on my grumpy, non-modded Sony and voila!
It plays there too! So if you don't have a region-free DVD player and you can't wait until the eventual r1 release, have no fears...

This R3 Korean BHD 3 disk set is basically the the R1 3 disk set with dts, minus the commentaries on disk one, plus the bonus original soundtrack.
It is cheaper here...

Does anyone have a comparison yet of the DD 5.1 and the DTS track? Three letters arent enough to make me rebuy the set. I want a review of the thing. Remember the Leon Superbit.

Too bad I ordered the R1 set already from CH, oh well. Now that I think about it, since I love my commentaries and was very happy with the audio in DD, I'll probably stick with it.

Any R3 Superbit will work in your Region 1 machine. This was proven a while back when CDWow had a number of R3 Superbits. Just a little unknown fact regarding Superbits.
Plus, if you look at the bottom of the dvdasian page, it even says it is region free.

Use this link....
then click on the US flag. That will give you $1.00 off. They one have 2 Region 3 discs left. Men In Black & Vertical Limit.
Disregard the first page where it says it expires on Decemeber 31, 2002 because it is still active.

Just do a seach for Superbit and you'll see Men In Black for $9.95 (sounds great BTW) and Vertical Limit for $12.95.
Oh yeah... it is free shipping too!
