Did anyone buy ALIAS at Circuit City and get the "ALIAS RECRUITED" book?
How is it?

I read about half of the book one day in the bookstore when I was bored. It is clearly written for a 'young adult' type of audience (read: 13 year old girls). The writing style and such is aimed at that level of reader.

It wasn't *terrible*, but definitely isn't worth making a special trip for. However, if you do like it, I suggest you check out the other titles at your local bookstore... there's about 5 or 6 of them in the series now.

Isn't CC the cheapest price for Alias anyways?

The book definitely looks like teen fare, but I'll probably skip to the parts about Syd's training.

No. Wal-Mart has it for $34.77... so you're pretty much paying for that free book.

Amazon sells that book for $5.99.

Are there any good Alias books out there, like the Watcher's Guide from Buffy? I would love to see one that has all of the aspects of those Buffy books...

You want Alias Declassified. The 'bonus DVD' included is just studio fluff -- not terrible, but not amazing either. But the book itself is pretty decent and covers the first season in depth:
