I would like to see the film "Private Lessons (1981)" with the lovely Sylvia Kristel on DVD. It has been 22 yrs. since its release on VHS and they still have not released it on DVD.

hm, not sure who would own the rights to that but I'd guess anchor bay since they recently rereleased the emmanuelle trilogy (which she was apart of)

Well, DVD has only existed since 1996, but I must say I do like the way you phrased that. It makes it seem like the wait has been longer. I've been waiting for a DVD of the TV production of Sweeney Todd since 1982 (even if I didn't know about it until years later ).

If only it were as simple as writing the studio and telling them to release it! It wouldn't hurt to try that though, and also start a petition. Good luck.

Private Lessons (1981)

According to E! Online, Universal Studios Home Video is the distributor of the film so I emailed them and this was their response:

Please see inquiry below .

Production Companies
* Barry Enright Film
* Jensen Farley Pictures [us]

Sincerely,
Universal Studios Home Video
