DVD File always does this, also did it with Daredevil. It pisses me off only in the fact that I have to wait so long for the DVD to come out.

Can't wait for this; loved the movie. One of the only sequels to actually pay off this summer.

It's good to see Fox giving early copies out. I think it's ridiculous that some studios (Paramount, Universal) wait until the last week before the release (or not at all).

I really enjoyed this movie. This set sounds awesome!

I could be wrong, but sounds like they packed this one enough the first time so (maybe) there won't be a X2.5. Maybe the studio caught enough flack.... or maybe Bryan Singer said he wouldn't participate in another re-package.

I'm glad it got a great review and all but I didn't really care for it. but it'll still be in the household since my brother enjoyed it.

Maybe they should have taken a few extra minutes and fixed all the mistakes in the review. For instance, Toad isn't even in X2 (I think he meant Nightcrawler) and Howard Shore didn't do the score for the original, either.

Paramount sometimes sends their discs out in advance of that, but they actually have a moratorium on publishing reviews until 10 days before release. If you break the moratorium, you don't get any more screeners.

They do this because they want the new review to be fresh in people's minds when the disc streets.

"...the sexual tension between Storm (Halle Berry) and Nightcrawler (Alan Cummings) heats up..."

??? Anybody catch this during the movie? Guess I'll have to look for it when I pick this one up.

Heh heh, I just looked at the review again and some of the glaring mistakes made about the plot have been corrected.

Fox is great about getting these early, I got some Universal discs for review yesterday, which was also my deadline.
