What's your protocol for DVD info on the internet?
*Mods, feel free to move to appropriate forum*
Does anyone out there have a certain routine they go through to search for dvd stuff on the internet?
You fire up your computer, hop on the internet...
(My routine)
1. Check dvdfile.com (news section, then reviews)
2. Next is dvdangle.com (check news, enter contests)
3. Then digitalbits.com (Check news and rumor mill)
4. Finally dvdtalk (bargains first, then dvd talk, then movie talk)

No routine, but I have a specific set of sites that I regularly browse for news (mainly forums). When purchasing, I just can't checkout without first comparing regions and then prices. I also check reviews at IMDB and RottenTomatoes to see what I'm letting myself in for (almost all my purchases are 'blind').

DVD Talk is my home page.
I start reading about most everything here. From there I go to just a few other sites....none of which come close to being as informative as DVD Talk.
I don't really read the reviews here because I don't trust reviews.
I use the Bargains section all the time and order thru the links as often as I can.
And if I ever have any prooblems with any of my DVDs I come back here to post.
Everything DVD related starts and ends here.

DVDFile's reviews have been so error-ridden lately (especially with regard to one particular reviewer) that I don't rely them on them much for info anymore.

I'm usually pretty familiar with even my blind buys, but I always make sure I know I'm getting the best picture, sound etc. I really appreciate the reviews of those who critique the A/V seperate from the main review; I can skip over the film review and straight to the picture/sound critique, so nothing is spoiled.
