First 2disc S.E. you owned
 

I know there have been 1000 posts on your first dvd. And i've always tried to get the discussion on other posts and i haven't had much luck, so i thought i'd try this. And if anyone knows the first official 2 disc release(on one film, not one release with two films).
I've been racking my brain trying to remember mine, and i believe it was in 99 and was Army of Darkness Limited Edition. Thats the first one i remember.

Fight Club SE, also the first DVD purchase I made.

First two disc: Independence Day

Can't say I really recall... maybe The Abyss :confused:

Metallica S&M, bought back in August 2000 when I moved back to the states, it was my 6th dvd.

I think mine was Men in Black: Limited Edition. I pre-ordered it and got it the Saturday before the release date. This was in Sept. of 2000. I also got Independence Day around that time too.

I think mine was the Limited Halloween, I think that came before Fight Club. If not, then it was Fight Club.

Gladiator

My first two-disc SE was A Bug's Life: CE back in November of 1999.

But even before that I had the multi-disc Brazil: Criterion Collection, a 3-disc from June '99. But since it ain't two discs, I guess it don't count. :(

I'm not too sure on this one, I do believe that it was Tarzan: Collector's Edition (Disney animated). But not too sure :confused:

Patton... One of the first ones I bought too. Far out! Never really thought about it; until now that is :D

It was either Gladiator or MIB 1, not really sure it's been a while

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, which was my 8th overall.

Fight Club: SE also... the reason I bought a DVD player. I remember back in the day when a "Special Edition" was such a big deal.

We had a thread once to figure out what the earliest 2-disc releases were. I've been searching for it for the last 20 minutes and can't find it, and naturally I also can't remember what the earliest was. I think it may have been The Ten Commandments.

I'll keep looking.

I can't remember exactly, but it was either Armageddon CC or A Bugs Life CE(I think)
