Anyone have a DVD stand alone burner?
I know there are DVD recorders out there that don't require you to use a computer and encode the show. You just send the signal in and it burns it right to a DVD.
Does anyone have one of these? How are they? I have tons of vhs tapes I taped off TV and would love to have these on DVD so that is the main reason for me to get one. (Hardcastle & McCormick DVD collection!!!)
I'd also probably use it to record current shows as well.

I have 2 Panasonic DVD-recorders and I highly recommend them.Kiss your VHS tapes goodbye. It took me almost a year to transfer my best VHS tapes to DVD.I recommend Meritline.com for blank media.
