T2: Extreme

There's nothing quite like a case that doubles as a shredder

My Top 3:

3: Punch-Drunk Love

2: LOTR: FOTR 4 Disc

And the greatest DVD packaging of all time:

1: 2002 World Series

Not only a clear keepcase with double sided artwork, but shots of one of the greatest moments in the history of the planet, and to top it all off, a free Rally Monkey baseball card!

I agree with the most obvious ones: LOTR EE, Futurama sets are pretty cool, I'd add Citizen Kane, nice classy box.

I like the MST3K box set packaging with the little spinner wheels on the cover of the box.

I also like the Fear and Loathing CC, and the Disney Tins (even though they dent if you look at them sideways).

But my favorite has to be the I Drink Your Blood LE DVD.

The Akira Limited Edition is beautiful and easy to access.
Futurama should be the model for all multi-disc sets and would be ideal with a plastic outer case. The Godfather should have had the same packaging.
BTTF and other packages have simple, durable and easy to use 3 disc cases. No frills, but high quality.
Band Of Brothers is nice looking, but the accordian design is a little unweildy, IMO.
LOTR EE is nice to look at, but I prefer plastic cases.
I like Sturday Night Fever's thin design. Not the most durable, but allows you to put a lot of DVDs on one shelf.

Worst:
ET 2 disc (the worst I have)
Close Encounters which has a ridiculous vertical orientation.

1. Fear and Loathing Criterion. It looks marvelous.
2. LOTR: FOTR EE
3. Multiway tie...any keepcase.

Worst: Snappers; West Side Story (just because it's the wrong size, doesn't fit right with anything).

You have spoken the truth, nothing even comes close to the DVD packaging for PH 4 disc set.

How could everyone leave out the Total Recall tin and the Basic Instinct limited edition packaging?
