Will we ever see SNL: Best of Phil Hartman?

When are the finest SNL moments of this comic genius coming to DVD? With all the other SNL cast members coming out with their "Best Of's", Hartman is constantly overlooked.

I'm guessing it's some legal issue, but I for one am feeling slighted each time a new SNL disc comes out.

I need to have The Sinatra Group on DVD!!!

I'm not sure, but to do it right, it would need to be about a 10 disk set.

Wasn't there a special after he died on tv with some of his best SNL moments? Not sure if it was NBC or Comedy Central but I swear I remember some network putting together a clipshow and it definitely didn't do justice to the man and his talents.

I agree at least a multi disc set is in order. I wish more than anything SNL would just get on it. As well as doing Holiday themed DVD's... to have The Betty Ford Straight Arrow Christmas with Hartman as Johnny Cash and Lovitz as David Crosby is still killin me 10+ years later.

I'm pretty sure there is a Best of Phil Hartman or SNL Remembers Phil Hartman (it was on TV after he died) I'm pretty sure it's on video at least (but maybe DVD, I can't remember)

Yeah it'll be released soon enough. There was one on TV but it's not on DVD. The new company that's distributing them is really going at it with the SNL "best of's." On the insert in the "Best Of Will Ferrell" dvd, it says "More Title's Coming Soon" and there's a huge list of cast members and I'm pretty sure Phil Hartman is one of them.

I have Best of Phil Hartman on VHS.

How about the Best of John Belushi on DVD? It used to be on VHS.

It sucks how their "Best of" DVD's are only a one dvd set. I was hoping the Adam Sandler DVD would have more on it

I got screwed with this DVD I though it would be different that the trimark one it's the same exact sketch I bought it for nothing. And the old DVD ad extra the new Adam As only a photo gallery. I wonder if the Chris Farley one will be the same as the trimark one probably.
