Arnold owns the rights to Pumping Iron. If he didn't want this documentary on DVD, then it wouldn't have been announced. He stated previously that he intends to include everything, and that he also had deleted material that he was thinking of including.

I cannot see a better time to release this DVD. With all the publicity he is getting, this DVD will sell through the roof.

From what I remember this is the Pumping Iron: 25th Anniversary that was shown on cinamax not to long ago which was a different edit of the original. Now I forgot if they included the scene when arnold is smoking after he wins Mr Olympia or not.

They might as well include the scene... They've shown it so many times on CNN, MSNBC, etc. over the past week or so, it's not like people aren't aware of it.

Arnold is great. He used to tell people back in the 70's that his secret to success is that he didn't drink milk. Bodybuilding newbies today still ask if milk is bad for you.

I think the smoking scene might help his chances in California. Seriously. It will help make him look like liberal Republican, thus appealing to the left, and who else can the right going to vote for?

They're leaving it in. I read it in the news over at eonline. Arnold said its something he did in the past, and there's no reason to take it out. And he did say he inhaled

Best quote in the movie:

"So can you imagine how much I'm in heaven? I'm getting the feeling of cuming in the gym, I'm getting the feeling of cuming at home, I'm getting the feeling of cuming back stage when I pump up, when I pose, out in front of a thousand people, so I'm cuming day and night! That's terrific, right? So.. I'm in heaven."

Does anyone know if this is the original Pumping Iron? I heard a new version aired on Cinemax last year. I would really like to have the original intact.
