Do they sell DVD Boxset "Boxes"?

I am making a boxset of DVD's for someone.

I want to buy or make a "box" to hold them in.

Much like "James Bond 007 Boxset" seen here:

I want it to hold 5 or 6 DVD's

Any ideas?

I know you can buy the blank DVD Cases, but how about the box to hold 5 or 6 of them in a presentable fashion?

No.

But Paul Champagne makes unofficial boxes that look pretty good.

Kevin Smith really likes the 'Jerseyl Trilogy' one, which was helped by the View Askew team.

Hmmm... how can I get one? Or is this a joke?

I think it depends upon the studio, I know I tried to buy some from Acorn (A&E/mysteries/those sorts of things) but they didn't offer them for sale individually. As far as Paul here's his website http://www.designpaulchampagne.com/ I haven't actually ordered anything from it yet but I've been tempted...

I am just looking for a simple blank box, that is designed to put 5 or 6 DVD cases in.

I've never heard of anyone doing blank boxes for sale. By the way, those are amazing. I think the matrix one is the coolest for those that already have the matrix and won't upgrade for the eventual boxset.

I have bought 4 of Pauls boxes (Jersey Trilogy and Criterion Samuri Trilogy, Alien box) and he did a custom case for me, which was for my Nightmare on Elm St box set, which was bashed to bits... which he later put up for sale as a regular buy for other folks.

I have been more than impressed by them and they are much more sturdy that regular boxes, and a lot nicer to look at.

Im sure if you ask him he will sell you a blank box...though he does custom work. So send him your artwork and see if he can do anything with it.

Does anyone know if anyone sells his stuff cheaper somewhere? I did a search for some stuff on e-bay but couldn't find anything.

Nope, the only way to buy them is from his web site, e-bay, or echange forum if anyone got sick of theirs.

Did you elect to have the Kurosawa Yojimbo/Sanjuro box enlarged to include Hidden Fortress and 7S? If so, was the box designed changed to include the two extra movies? The box is only labeled with Yojimbo/Sanjuro.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to store these DVD's in for a presentable gift?

How much did he charge you for this?

I have the Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 case by Paul, I love it.
Next month I'll be ordering a few others, including The Matrix, and Lord of the Rings cases he's going to be making.

The Matrix and Lord of the Rings ones look amazing! Hell they all look great. I would love to get some of them. Does the color look as good in person as it does on the site? Also, Since the original Matrix was released in a snapper case, and Reloaded is being released in an Amray case, are they all going to fit in the box, or would I have to get an Amray case for the original? Does anyone have it yet?

yeah...please post more information about those cases. They look amazing on the website and I plan on picking up A LOT of them (Halloween, Blade, Bruce Lee, etc. ). How are they shipped? I want to make sure the post office doesn't destroy them on route. Thanks
