Which of your DVDs have the most cobwebs on them?

Sort of relating to "The Great Unwatched"... but a two-part question.

1. Which new but unwatched DVD has been unwatched for the longest time?
2. Which of your DVDs has gone the longest without being watched?

My answers:

1. Lucio Fulci's The Black Cat. Got it over two years ago. Saw the menu one time, but still haven't seen the movie.
2. The original flipper version of Seven. Just sits there, don't think I've seen it since 1999.

1. Divine Madness - bought it three and a half years ago because my BF wanted it, but we still haven't watched it yet. Same goes for Girl, Interrupted, but we've had that one for 'only' three years.

2. Pop Up Video: The 80's - it's one of the very first DVDs I bought, back in December of 1999, but after watching it shortly after I bought it, I've never watched it since.

1. The French Connection - I got this through CH during the great 4.99 deal a few months back. It's one of only a couple I have't watched yet. I'm generally very good about watching them all.

2. Big Daddy - I got this free with my player back in May of 2000. I watched it once. What a crappy movie. If I wasn't such a collector I would dump it.

1. Nothing - I've watched every single DVD I own.

2. Most likely a number of episodes from season one of the X-files that I haven't rewatched since I first got the set.

Reservoir Dogs, don't like the movie at all, so there's my reason.

The Mask of Zorro: Superbit
Die Another Day

Damn TV shows on DVD keeps me from getting around to these. Hopefully I'll watch them soon. I imagine Star Trek: The Next Generation Seasons 1,2, and 7 will also not get much if any repeat viewing.

Simpson's S1. I haven't made it through all the discs, yet. At the rate they're being released, I have plenty of time to watch 'em

Still unwatched: Day of Wrath, from the Dreyer box set, bought about a year and a half ago.

Unwatched the longest: Timecode.

Most cobwebs "The Jackal" you've got to be kidding me with all the different international sets and backgrounds, beautiful boats and some intrigue to boot, I am just the opposite. I haven't the desire to watch "The Time Machine" 2002. I can't get enough of "The Jackal" with Bruce Willis and Diane Venora or "The Time Machine" 1960 with Rod Taylor and Yvette Mimieux.

Get Carter: The original version with Michael Caine. I actually liked it quite a bit, but have not rewatched since I got it three years ago.

Oh, I like it. It's just that I've got so many other DVD's that I now find myself revisiting since I got the 57" widescreen TV. Last night I enjoyed The Sandlot...classic stuff.

But don't get me wrong, The Jackal is a cool ass movie.

I've had all 3 James Bond box sets since they first came out (Which was what, 1999 and 2000?). To date, I've only watched Dr. No, From Russia With Love and Goldeneye (and those first two I *just* watched this weekend).

I've had the complete series of Monty Python's Flying Circus since Buy.com had a huge mis-price on the all-in-one box set back when it came out (1999 or 2000?). To date I think I've only watched the first 2 episodes and the Spam episode.

I bought Drawing Flies blind the week it came out (Best Buy had a deal when you bought it with something else... maybe Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?) Never watched that until the other month.

Got PI free in a 2pack with Reqiuem for a Dream. Sat on my shelf for a year until I watched it the other month.

Haven't watched any X-Files:Season1 episodes after the first disc, had that since it came out too.

I probably have 50-75 dvds I've never watched sitting on my shelf right now. (In all cases I've seen the movie itself previously; Drawing Flies, Pi, and Mallrats have been my only blind buys). Damn Columbia House and their cheap dvds!

Being John Malkovich, True Romance, or Memento. These are all DVDs that I received as gifts. I had seen each of these movies previously and I dislike them all (True Romance is OK I guess), so I have no reason to watch the DVDs, ever. Since they were gifts I won't get rid of them.

Why not? I've traded/sold many a DVD that was a gift.

1. Cleopatra - I've owned it for a year and a half and have yet to even pop it in. Hell, I may not even like it... Guess I need to find out.

2. Good question... Maybe Braveheart, which I have not watched since it was released (of course, that could be said about any number of films). Or... Sid & Nancy CC, which I have not watched since the anamorphic MGM disc was released. I may never watch it again, but I'm hanging on to it for those great extras (something I generally don't care about).

I've also received 'gifts' of DVD's that haven't exactly been to my liking however maybe i'm similar to Wendersfan in that whilst i may not like them they do have a 'sentimental' value as opposed to a monetary one.
