While I think the MMILCv2's will do well, I think the donald's will go quicker.
Will these be limited to 125,000 as well - or - will disney try and cash in and increase the quantity ?
How will vendor distribution work? Is Amazon limited to the number of preorders they can take?

gah...I want these, but money is tight...I guess I can always cancel the preorder if a better deal comes along. I've gotten lucky and picked these all up as they came out to date, but I'm afraid this bunch will go much faster than the previous selections.

I will order a Chronological Donald and On the Front Lines, then I will enjoy watching them.
I can't stand it when people buy 12 of each one when they come out in Costco. Greed and selfishness.

I would tend to agree....I lucked into getting two copies of SS and MMBW, aiming to keep one to watch and use one for trading. It's one thing when it's something like the South Park deal, where they sold them for ten bucks, and you could offer them for say 20, so it's still below MSRP and average retail price. But buying tens or hundreds of copies of something like this, just to hold onto them and hawk on Ebay for a hundred bucks, I think is just wrong. [Not legally wrong, morally wrong.] Especially when the majority of the people selling them on ebay, probably never watched them.
Does anyone have details on the Tomorrow one? I'm definitely interested in the other three, but the live action onces from wave 2 didn't do much for me.

I always somehow get into the frenzy after the Disney Treasures become OOP. Well, you know what they say about procrastination: it makes an as out of procr and tination!

Yea preorder them all then it’ll turn out words like “Jap” are bleeped out, “don’t try this at home” scenes are added in etc etc!!
Personally, I will not touch these tins until I get confirmation from internet news links and posts on forums that everything is how it should be!

I watched 'Education for Death', which is supposed to be on the Front Lines set, on ifilm.com. Obviously it's propaganda, but it was still somewhat disturbing. I'm ordering the set for historical perspective, but I don't think that'll be the first set I let my son watch [he's a little young for it.] You know why they do things like that, and obviously almost anything we could do to defeat Hitler, the Reich, and the Axis would be the *much* lesser of two evils, but watching that short still gave me a twinge.
They may not be 100% 'unedited' or 'unexpurgated,' but especially given some of the material, this may be the only chance to see them.

And yes, the propaganda is just so intense.

Bring on the Duck!!
Can't wait to see the cover art for all these sets. Very much looking forward to the Duck set. He's always been a real favourite character of mine : - anarchcic and rather mean spirited at times - a little less likeable than the later version of Mickey, although the early Mickey Mouse was a little rebel nearer to Donald than his later bowdlerised self. Rather like Disney himself, at first innovative and later more likely to play safe, although I know before I get shot down in flames that he was a still a great innovator with his use of TV, and theme parks, in his later years. It is just that by the late 1950's and earl 60's he had become more stolidly American in a sort of Republican way than in his early years.

What does the Tomorrowland set consist of? I got the impression it was live action kind of things, but if it's offbeat animation like on those disks, I might check it out. I do love old scifi and space exploration, so I guess I should get it anyway.
