more LITTLE RASCALS coming to DVD!

I never heard of the studio - Catcom Home Video - but they're releasing four episodes on one DVD on 8/12/03. http://tvshowsondvd.com/releaseinfo.cfm?ReleaseID=2999

Yeah, I know, four lousy episodes...but its a start.

Also coming, from Artisan Entertainment, is Vol. 3 & 4 on 8/19. http://tvshowsondvd.com/releaseinfo.cfm?ReleaseID=2915 Contains 10 episodes:

Teacher's Pet, School's Out, Readin' & Writin', Spooky Hooky, Sprucin' Up, For Pete's Sake, The Kid From Borneo, Dogs Is Dogs, The Pooch and Dog Heaven (Silent)

I am still awaiting someone to get the rights to these and do them with the care they deserve. I have the entire set of the Cabin Fever tapes but several are showing tape wear (especially Volume 10 - "Birthday Blues" - wee-wowwww )

You can get the Cabin Fever DVD set (vol.1-12) online, still. It's not totally gone from the planet yet.

I long for the rest of the set, but Cabin Fever never went beyond vol.12 I wouldn't buy the VHS tapes.

Anyone know the name of the episode where the kids rub on a lamp and say " I wish Cotton was a monkey" ? Is this one available on dvd? It's my 2nd favorite next to The Kid from Borneo. Yum Yum eat em up.

I didn't know Cabin Fever put out any on DVD (I bought all 21 volumes plus "For Pete's Sake" on tape before I had a DVD player back in 1998). What year did these DVD's come out? I bet Cabin Fever lost the rights to them before they could finish (the tapes have been long out of print due to Cabin Fever's license expiring).

Were there only 4 shorts per disc like the tape? Any extras?

Each DVD has 8 shorts (two volumes of the VHS series).

UGH! I am waiting on the other Cabin Fever releases as well but this is a good sign! I got both sets of the VHS tapes and play the 2nd set more than the 1st. I love the ep with the "fidgets" and the one where Spanky babysits and the lil kid keeps saying "remarkable"!

Does anyone know which one has the line with Jackie saying, "I gotta grease Wheezer". ? I think it's the one in which they are volunteer fire fighters and Spanky was 3 or 4 years old (of course he would be with Jackie and Wheezer).

Thanks.

What was the one where they had a taxi (I think). And it looses control down a hill and they hit a truck that sends tires rolling down also. It also had a boxing glove spring out and hit people.

Thanks!

ps-And is it on dvd?

In Hi'-Neighbor! (1934) they build their own fire engine and race down a hill (but I'm not sure that's the one with the tires, I'd have to watch it again). It's on the sixth Cabin Fever DVD (Volume 11 & Volume 12).

Hook and Ladder (1932) (available on the first Cabin Fever DVD) is the one where they are volunteer firemen. Throughout the short, Spanky's brother has to periodically give him a spoonful of medicine.

As for the "A Lad 'n a Lamp," while not on the 12 vol. set, it is available on a public domain Our Gang DVD that I've seen at Wal*Mart. Contains a couple other shorts and some other Our Gand related material.

Unfortunately, don't remember what its called but it is out there.

You're welcome. I thought Bear Shooters was on one of the DVDs (because I recently watched it), but I just checked the episodes on the Cabin Fever set and it isn't. I guess I saw it on TCM a few months back.
