X2 - DVD Arwork Released

I don't like how they have to different sets of cover art for the WS and FF editions. Especially since the like the FF cover better (I loved Ian McKellan as Magneto).
I hate when the studios do this, the same thing happened when Spider-Man came out, where I preferred the FF cover art of the WS cover art.
Oh well, I'm sure it'll still be a great disc, but it's still kinda disappointing for me.

Would you rather them do something like Disney did for The Rookie, where you had to look at the specs in order to determine if it was the WS version or not?
I like when they do this, anything that makes Widescreen stand out clearly from FF is a good thing.

Ugh, large Halle pic again despite her limited role. Give it to someone who deserves it, like Nightcrawler in the front with Wolverine!
Looks nice though, aside from the fact that it looks to be in an amary case instead of the digipak that X-Men 1.5 is in... aka they won't match. Grrr.

Don't get me wrong either, I wouldn't have said anything if the cover that I liked was on the widescreen version instead (just personal bias here) but in the end, it's no big deal. I'll still buy the DVD and I doubt I'm gonna lose any sleep over something like this.

No DTS
The specs for the first one look like it won't be DTS. Every now and then a studio does the right thing and releases a movie DTS on the first one. It looks like we'll have to wait for X2.5. I really hate that nonsense. Are there many people here who didn't know that the second Lord of the Rings would be available in DTS several months later than the first release. This re-releasing is very annoying. I'm willing to bet that X2 will be available in a DTS flavor not far from now, I just wish they would be upfront about it. What I'd like most is for them to release the plain version and the DTS version simultaneously so they can get a good feel for what people want. Releasing a DTS version several months later and after so many people already purchased the original release and aren't willing to buy a second copy isn't an accurate way of tracking demand.

Why in blue hell is Yuriko Oyama on the disc two? She was in the movie for the sole purpose of having someone for wolverine to fight because no one (besides the people here at dvdtalk) would pay $7 to watch Hugh Jackman slap around Brian Cox.
