Anyone remember this?
Ok, it's a tv show or movie from the 80's and featured a Ford Escort that could fly or something like that and a carwash was involved in the story some how.

Sounds more like the cult classic from 1966-1971, the unintentionally-hilarious "Dark Shadows". I think (in season 3) Jonathan Frid (Barnabas) operated a car wash [at night of course] with his sidekick Willie. And Barn. would occasionally change himself into a 1966 Ford Galaxy 500 and fly over to the Collinwood mansion for "a bite" to eat.
