Any romors on this in DTS? I know the movie is supposed to be bad but I hate rebuying DVD's.

According to the specs there is no dts.

Your're wondering about double dipping on the dvd for a movie you haven't seen yet (did you?) but you think may be bad

I try to find out about all movies being released in DTS before I buy them. I've re-purchased far too many movies. I know there are some people out there who say DD can sound as good as any DTS movie. I'm not going to debat that but I am going to say that every movie that I have that was re-released in DTS sounds better than the old DD recording. I don't care whether that is because they put more effort into the DTS version or because of the technology, I care that it sound better period.

the hulk is a universal movie, and so they will probably do a special edition and then an ultimate edition like the mummy

Universal has more dts dvd movies than any other studio out there. This movie should have dts and I think, if not the first time around?... it will have it eventually.

Actually, there hasn't been an "Ultimate Edition" in a couple of years. Everyone thought that Mummy Returns and Scorpion King would be re-released with a DTS track, but it never happened. Previously announced UE's of things like 12 Monkeys and Dragonheart never materialized. I have a feeling that Universal gave up on the idea after poor sales of previous "Ultimate Editions" (but come on, Meet Joe Black? Notiing Hill? Patch friggin' Adams, seriously, what were they thinking?). Anyway, unlike Fox or Columbia, I would seriously doubt a DTS version is in the wings on this one. Sorry.

If you want DTS.. then order the region 2-4.. both the 2 disc and 3 disc boxset for the hulk includes DTS.. but not for region 1.
there isa petition over at the hulkmovie.com to get the boxset region 1 released here in the states.
