I need help with spines... please

Hi there, I am new here. I would like to create a dvd by mergin the back and front pictures (which I have) but that means that I have to create the spine myself. Is there any software that can help me with this? (i.e. i would llike to have the dvd symbol and a font that goes with the rest of the dvd's font style)

By the way, you guys, I have seen a few of your custom covers and they are amazing, how do you do them; what software do you use?

cheers and bye for now...

Those who can afford it or who have generous benefactors use Photoshop. I use Paint Shop Pro, the next step down.

The best way to do this is to use a template of the size keepcase that you are going to use. The by using your image software (Photo Shop, Paint Shop Pro, or others) you can create a spine that fits the spinal dimensions of the template you are using.

Well without seeing your cover images it is hard to say what font it is. I do have a special symbol font that includes the DVD Logo. I could email it to you if you wish.

Go to dvdcoverart.com they have a free template and you can get the info on the correct sizes to print out.

Slightly off topic, but I noticed that when I try to make a single spine custom into a regular double using their templates, it seems the template's spine is slightly out of order.
