TV stand suggestions

I am not sure if this needs to be here or in the hardware "section" so mods if you determine so (since we have dvd racks and such here) please redirect.

Would you suggest a nice TV stand (36 inch TV required)...something rather stylish but not so expensive (yeah, I know)....I have seen some great units around here so please give me a hint or two if you could.....

Thank's in adavance....

I know this is not a real answer but here goes. Just do what I do use one of your nightstands. A nightstand is a good alternative if you have no money.

Pro-Bassonist,

I saw a really stylish, contemporary Entertainment center, that can hold a 36 inch TV, Components, and alot more for something like 179 at Target. Might wanna check it out. It's pretty great looking.

I have this in black with black support columns and polished aluminum feet:

I wanted something strong enough to hold my Sony Wega 36" XBR (245lbs, I think), and could hold my large center channel speaker on a lower shelf. It worked out perfectly, and looks pretty damn cool too (I got the matching A/V rack for my gear).

True, it's not inexpensive... but when I hopped up and down on it after assembly (which was easy, btw) and it didn't budge, I knew I'd made the right choice.

Good luck in your search!

Ron
