I'm also a big fan of of the weird Danish TV show. It reminds me of Twin Peaks. There is a R1 release for the first season of The Kingdom (shown here in NA as a really long movie), but it's only available in my homeland, Canada. It's released by a company called Seville and it's a 2 disc set. You can find it online at dvd-plus.com, hmv.com, futureshop.ca or any other Canadian DVD website (the exchange rate will be sweet for Americans--I paid $25 CDN).
Unfortunately the second season, Kingdom II, has never been released in R1. I picked up an Asian R0 set, but it's O/P now.

There are Taiwanese region free versions of all of the Kingdom available. I ordered them about a month ago from Poker Industries. They are selling the complete set for $29.99 Kingdom Complete Set
edited confused the Directors' cuts of Betty Blue & Malena (which were Korean) with the Taiwanese Kingdom releases

The Kingdom Complete Set
All-Region / NTSC Format - DVD
$29.99 - was $39.99
1994 - Denmark / Director: Lars Von Trier
Cast: Ernst-Hugo Jaregard, Peter Mygind, Kirsten Rolffes, Holger Juul Hansen, Udo Kier...
Good but weird stuff... Highly recommended. This site (DVDTAlk) has a review which prompted me to buy this set (albeit $10 more).
Damn! mcarver beat me to it!

WOW!!!
I cannot believe how cheap the price is on these dvds now.
http://www.pokerindustries.com/poker...KINGDOMSET-DVD
When Kingdom 2 first came out, I paid like 3 times that much for it. All good things come to those who wait, I guess.
Is Kingdom 2 still spread out on two discs? (instead of being one double sided disc like Kingdom 1)? It doesn't mention it being 2 discs, so I am just curious.

The first one is on 1 disc (not a flipper). The 2nd set is spread across 2 discs....
