How's the commentary on Bull Durham?
I love commentaries, and was pleasantly surprised by Costner on "Robin Hood." How's the chemstry between he and Tim Robbins in this commentary?

Personally, I thought it was excellent. Lots of joking back and forth (especially about Tim's wife Sarandon). A few moments when they just start watching the movie, but not too bad at all.

I really enjoyed the commentary on this disc. It made me think Kevin Costner was a lot more down to earth than I thought he was when I went into the commentary to begin with. Very cool.

I picked up the first version when it went OOP to make sure I got Ron Shelton's commentary (which is also on the SE). I checked the SE out of my library (for free) and flipped threw the Costner / Robbins commentary and the parts I listened to were a lot of fun. The commentary seemed enjoyable enough that at some point I might upgrade to the SE using Columbia House.

The funniest moment in the commentary is when Costner asks (referring to the scene in the bar after he fights with Robbins character): "Do I have a hard-on in this scene?"

It looked like he did!I think the most interesting stuff is during the Annie / Crash sex scenes. Tim Robbins is obviously a little uncomfortable watching these scenes with the guy sitting next to him goin' to town on his wife! I found it really interesting and one of my very favorites. Costner can go two hours without sounding like a pretentious, self-obsessed ***hole? Who knew?

Someone must have gotten him good and liquored up before the commentary session that night.
Of course I'm still waiting for that Postman video commentary that was promised on The Simpsons
