I wouldn't beleive it if I hadn't checked thedigitalbits.com...I would have figured they would announce it a couple months before, so they could build hype (like the Reloaded DVD) Ohwell, the sooner I get it, the better....It also said the Hulk was coming in October for those interested.

It's not uncommon for a DVD to be released on a Friday. Shrek and Harry Potter were if I remember correctly.

along with the ever-so popular WB DVDs: Scooby-Doo, Blood Work & Ghost Ship.

The last 2 titles are definitely laughable. I'd say that Shrek is a movie that can definitely carry it's weight as it's one of the best all-time sellers on DVD.

I'll ignore the obvious 2004 replies since I'm a little late to the game. But I would like to point out that this came from the Rumor Mill. If you're going to post news like this, please distinguish between rumors and facts. Although this rumor will hopefully come true.

The title of this thread say it's going to be released in 2004? That's a long time to wait for the DVD.

I don't care about the exact date. All I care about is that they get it right the FIRST TIME this time. I hate to double dip.

Count on X2 getting a double dip(at least). Notice the article said Hulk would be a Collector's Edition...They didn't say anything about X2 being some special release. Xmen 2.5, anyone?

Sept release seems right, it did come out on May 2nd.

If a movie comes out in July, a release date in Nov would not be uncommon.

Well, if it helps, they say it'll be two discs.

I hope they do a 2 disc SE right off the bat. I want to see this and not wait for a better edition.

This definately looks like December 9, 2003, which is a Tuesday.

That is how we write dates in French : Day/Month/Year!

I hope they do a 2-disc SE with DTS. Or else I'm waiting for the X-Men 2.5

I've been hearing the 9/12/03 date for a while so maybe it is accurate. It is coming from the bits though...they are not the most realiable sometimes. I am getting angry that it hasn't been announced yet as Reloaded came out in theaters after X2 and that has been announced. Nemo and Italian Job have also been announced, both of which were released after X2 as well.
