Kurosawa Criterion Box Set Question

I already own The Seven Samurai
and am thinking about getting the
box set. I know that doing this will leave
me with a duplicate of that film.

Question: Is each film in the box set sealed individually? What are the chances of being able to get a decent price for the new dup on ebay?

Unlike the Hitchcock Box set, these discs are not sealed seperately. The package comes sealed but the cases inside just have the stickers at the top with the name. So they are in a sense sealed, just not with the plastic wrap like you would find when you bought one from a store or individually.

Also, there is no UPC on any of the individual cases in the boxset. Just be aware in case you do sell it on eBay and someone asks about it.

Which one do you think most people would prefer?

The copy of The Seven Samurai that I obtained individually is
still in great shape. It's just not sealed.

Obviously, the one that I would get from the box set wouldn't be sealed either.

I could ebay either one. Personally, I don't care.

Actually, I got Seven Samurai from www.freedvds.com

I will get the Kurosawa box set from

www.freedvd4me.com

It's cheaper (point wise) to just get the box set.

Whatever copy of the DVD I sell will be profit anyway.
I'm just hoping to get advice on which one to sell.

Maybe you should just trade your Seven Samurai CC for another CC title you want on the trade forum and forget about ebay?

Or you could just buy the boxed set from me for $55 including s/h. (bought for my dad, but he didn't like it. "If I want to read, I'll read a book.", he says.
