Is this really a big deal? Europe got most, if not all, of these features on previous releases of BHD. If anything, Korea's getting them late.

Shucks!
Is that all DTS is? Damn...and to think i've been spending all this money on DTS discs from different regions.
Hey! Anyone want my discs? They're only a few db louder!
Well, he does have a point, digi. I've definitely noticed on some DTS tracks that it sounds just like a louder version of the DD - no real change in the way it sounds or feels. This happens with some of my asian imports, and of course, Superbits. I imagine that he meant this particular title would not not sound much better, considering the tremendous DD 5.1 track it already possesses. Dave H, feel free to correct me.

I'll probably be getting this version of BHD, though. The dts on other offshore releases gets such high marks.

My 3-disc R1 set is fine for me.

Yes, you are right. If both soundmixes are the same, I don't hear much of a difference. (By the way, Robert George has written some outstanding posts about the entire DTS vs. DD debate. His logic and facts are very hard to rebute.)

I would only be interested in a Superbit for slight picture improvement. And, with this particular movie, I'm not sure if it will matter as much since so much of it is intentionally grainy.

At least all the rumors were right... I'll just wait for the US release to finally pick this movie up.

They'll keep the French 5.1 track, since Canada is in R1. I'd bet more US DVDs would have a bit-budget allowing DTS if the labels would produce a US-only release dropping the French dub track.

I agree, but I was talking about the upcoming Korean set, which won't include French audio options more than likely Just English or Korean only, allowing space for the DTS track.
