So the amazing docu from the 1st release won't be on this right? So I will buy the new release and keep the old one for the 1 hour documentary then. |
so they made it to appeal to rappers..... damn I might fo with the 1st release
|
"Camp classic"?
|
No deleted scenes???
|
I also ask, "Camp classic"?
|
I might as well post the following to save someone else the trouble even though I could care less:
"What??!?!? NO DTS??!?!?!?!?? OMG I'm going to devote the rest of my life to cursing and banning this studio, AHHHHH!?!?!??! :johnwoo: |
The 1st dvd had deleted scenes didn't it?
I know my laserdisc did. Can you imagine people buying the full screen of this movie? |
Camp Classic? Def Jam? NOOOOO... This is not Scarface! :(
|
Oh man. Why did we need the Def Jam thing on there? How did a movie about a Cuban druglord influence rap music?

Wow, that's really disappointing news.
|
Originally posted by Furio Tupac and Biggie are probably the result of Scarface. <i>"Gee willikers, ma, I'm gonna grow up to be just like that there Scarface!"</i> I guess those two guys emulated it right to the end, eh? |
Damn this dvd better have a great transfer!
Can you imagine the same transfer as the 1st dvd except no deleted scenes and no documentary like the 1st dvd, but a rap hip-hop documentary on how SCARFACE influnanced my life by thugs. |
Damn this dvd better have a great transfer! |
And all of this will be crammed on one disc
|
what does rap guys got to do with scarface in the first place anyway??
they need to go back killing their own (other rap/gang guys or whatever...) |
To be perfectly honest, I thought the first documentary was a little outdated so it will be refreshing to see what kind of new stuff they have on the re-release. I highly doubt if they were able to get the cast back together but we will see. Can somebody confirm this that De Palma wanted nothing to do with the Scarface re-release?
|
Actually...i thought the first documentary was WAY too short and figured they'd still include it.
I also figured they'd include the deleted scenes that were in the TV version but not in that first DVD as well. HUGE disappointment. |
As long as the picture looks better then the current dvd, I'm happy.
