dts dd5.1 and thx question

you know when you choose dts on some dvds and before the movie starts the dts piano clip, or the others dts cilp like on superbit dvds comes on. Are there anyothers that they have like thx, it has many for certain movies like T2 and star wars or just the regular one.

what i am asking is how many are there in DTS, DD5.1, and THX and what dvds are they on

I'm not sure if such a list exists, but to try and list all of such movies they are on would be pretty hard.

The few I have on DVD for DTS are the piano clip and the original DTS sound experience (the CD's swooshing through the speakers- that's the first DTS clip because it was in front of Jurassic Park).

The THX ones are numerous. Some are created (like T2, Star Wars, etc) as a special exclusive for certain movies. Then there are other THX clips (including the cow moo, the Simpsons, the robot fixing the THX logo, and numerous others) that exist either in a promotional form or on a DVD here and there.

Edit: here is a page with some trailers from all three formats:

I just rewatched my T2: UE disc to check... a DD trailer is on there. There are some DD trailers on releases, but usually DTS has an intro (I guess) to show off

The funny thing is that DD trailers are on pirated DVDs though. If you want to see all the DD trailers, get the DD demo disc from www.dolby.com

The Toy Story movies (one or the other, maybe both) have nice THX trailers.

I've always wondered why there wasn't a custom one for Star Wars.

At the Option 1/Option 2 page, click on Option 1. The price is $20 US.

I like the DD ex trailer on the Punch Drunk Love SB. I believe that is the only trailer that mentions the EX I've seen.

I have got the DTS Demo disc #4 & Lucasfilm THX Surround EX
demo disc from the audio dealer for free. Sometimes it pays
to make friends with them guys. Buying them is not for me.

Once came across the sale of the demo discs in A/V exhibition
the the price was like S$48.00 each and that's alot of crap to me.
