Just saw some of the new Fox 2 discers today at work and they have new packaging. They're no longer 5 stars. They are in cardboard cases (like the new Something About Mary) and are all numbered (1, 2, 3, 4, ect.).

I saw Sound of Music (white cover), Cast Away (totally dif. cover), and a few others.

I was jealous, the Abyss cover looks totally awesome.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ?!?!

That's amazing! I have the same combination on my luggage!

I'd be curious to see the Cast Away cover - the original was not impressive, IMO.

I saw next week's BB flyer today, and it has pics of all 5 of the covers. They'll be 2/$25 next week at BB (or $19.99 each). Interestingly, the ad states they are "BB exclusive collector's editions" even though they've already been available at Costco for a few weeks now.

There are more than 5 dif. DVD's.

I thought these weren't coming out till September or something.

The Cast Away cover looks pathetic - it has Tom Hanks all happy and he has a stick that's on fire - but the pic looks all chopped (pan and scam style).

Planet of the Apes is numbered 2, I think ID4 is 3, Abyss is 4, Sound of Music is 5, ect.

Oh, and each DVD has a nice ugly sticker that says 'Special 2 Disc Collectors Edition!'.
