Lilo&Stitch...buy now or wait??

I've been meaning to buy Lilo and Stitch but I hear there's going to be a re-release. Should I buy now or wait??

I think it is still in 'rumor stage', but there is word of a re-release in 6 months. Since you've waited this long, you might as well hang in there for a bit more. If a re-release is going to happen, we should get official word around the time of Lion King's release in October.

If it turns out that there is no SE coming, you can always pick up the current disc around the holidays. I'm sure someone will have a decent price.

At this point, I'd wait. The three Special Editions rumored for January (Alice in Wonderland, Pocahontas, and Lilo & Stitch) recently had their listings changed on Disney's video website to show "Special Edition." Nothing else is changed, and the notation doesn't really match other Special Editions, but it's interesting.

I'm gonna hold out for the SE. Disney will release one, I'm sure.

In six months? I'm glad I got my copy of Lilo & Stitch as a gift.

Any wordon if Treasure Planet will also get a two disc treatment.

Yup...holding out for the SE here as well.

Now if I could just convince someone that Treasure Planet needs an SE release, too ....

The original is not a barebones release so ask yourself if you care about the additional extras that will be on the SE...

Yes - then wait.

No - buy now.

Quite logical really

So that makes three of us. That's enough, right?
