I would guess it won't be resolved in the next 3 years. This isn't E.T. or Star Wars, they want to release it, but I am sure it isn't a top priority.

Probably won't see the light of day. The drawback of having a show with really cool songs throughout.

I have 2 VHS movies The Pilot and Miami Vice: The Prodical Son. Music is great so is the line doubled Vhs.

P.S I just watched my colorized "The Thing" it won't me much difference since your B &W is industry standard 1.33.1

My bad, The New TNN... Sorry Mr. Lee... I really wasn't thinking of you when I wrote this. So please don't take any legal actions... A**HOLE!

Would love to see this released...but at the moment i don't think it's financially viable bearing in mind the sales they would probably recoup, which i doubt would cover the few millions of dollars it would take to clear up the music rights.

I heard that this was settled today. Doesn't make Mr. Lee any less of a hole, though.

And, no, I don't think you will see Miami Vice any time soon. The record industry is all out on rights and payments right now and I don't think they are dealing much. I'm afraid the same fate is befalling WKRP in Cincinnati.
