Whats is the USA release date for 28 days later

Has there be a confirmed date? I would presume it would be pretty quick right?

I've never heard of it. Is it a direct-to-video sequel to "28 Days"?

It's a zombie movie in theaters now. I'd guess near halloween.

Wait, no ... that's 28 Days Later. I have no idea what A28D is.

Do you mean 28 Days Later... ? There isn't a movie called Another 28 Days as far as I could at the IMDB.

28 Days Later has already been released on DVD in region 2, if you have a region-free player that can handle it.

In America it was just released to theaters. It appears to be doing well there. I would say you should expect the usual theater-to-DVD turnaround time of approximately 6 months before a region 1 DVD will come out.

Thats why I said USA. I dont care to pay 30 dollars for a pal dvd. I have a region free player but would still rather have a usa release. I saw it at the theatre it was awsome. I just presumed since its allready out in Pal they would release it very quickly over here. I was thinking august am I wrong.

Yep, you're wrong if you're thinking August. Just because the DVD has already been released in the UK doesn't mean it will get a quicker release here. The regular schedule for DVD releases usually doesn't have anything to do with the time it takes to make a DVD, most DVDs now are finished well before a movie leaves it's run in the theaters.

I wouldn't pay $30 for a PAL DVD either. You can find this movie for around $20-23 shipped, however. And, there is no guarantee that the items on the UK DVD will be the same as on the US DVD, generally it's not.

Well, it came out in theaters there in November '02, and the DVD came out in May '03. That's 6 months. Apply the same logic and you'll probably be close to the US DVD release date.
