Matrix Reloaded DVD Set To Hit In Australia First

It appears that Australia is going to get first crack at the Matrix Reloaded DVD. I just found, via email that it will be released there on October 10th. Of course, according to davisdvd.com, Matrix Reloaded isn't set to come out here until October 28th. Of course, that date is not set in stone but.. kind of odd that the Aussies get first crack.

I don't care for that cover at all. I prefer the ones show on thedigitalbits.com.

The primary production company is Village Roadshow which is an Australian company.

Exactly. The Australian people put up with the filming of this film for so long that they deserve to get first crack at it. At least it's not debuting in France or somewhere.

That's pretty much what I thought. All those days of having streets and areas of the city closed off. I think it's a nice gesture if that is part of the reason.

Another thing...at least the one from Australia isn't gonna be in a snapper case! (that is if WB releases it here as a single disc)

The cover art posted above is just a mock-up. The listing on EzyDVD says, "Mock-Up Only. Cover Art To Be Confirmed."

Bad idea. A lot of people who doesn't live in Australia will resort to getting a dvd rip off the internet. WB should do a world wide release.

Are you serious?

I really want this DVD but I can certainly wait an extra month until it comes to the states. I don't need a grainy bootleg when I can wait a little bit longer and get the real DVD.

If people are really that impatient......then I'm sure they have downloaded and burned a bootleg already.

It doesn't matter to me because I didn't plan on purchasing until the inevitable box set comes out late next year or 2005. I can hold out until then.
