If you're looking for free single alpha cases...
... try your nearest Hollywood Video.
HV uses security cases for their DVDs, but when they sell them, they transfer the disc and cover art to a regular alpha case and throw out the security case. Normally they don't use all the alpha cases at once, and keep them.
I went down and asked if I could have some of the regular alpha cases. I came out with about twenty free ones...

I went to Hollywood Video and they sent me away empty handed! First they were telling me that they didn't sell them. When they heard I wasn't buying, they were even less interested. Something about "We save all the boxes for reselling later" I know they don't save all the boxes. I think they were just being lazy and wanted to get rid of me.
