"We've seen reports that the upcoming Buena Vista release of "Chicago" will feature a commentary track from director-choreographer Rob Marshall and screenwriter Bill Condon. However we've been in touch with BV pR people and they assure us that the extras are as stated on the initial PR, I.E no commentary track. The extras are (apparently):
Deleted Scene musical number "Class"
Theatrical Trailer
28 minute making of feature
BV's PR are pretty sure however that the release does feature a DTS soundtrack."

I suppose that we can we expect to see a 2 disk set in the future.

Maybe Rob Marshall can divulge excatly WHY he cut so much during the film. It wasn't nice to have Richard Gere's tap-dance interrupted so heavily - you only see his face for a few shots.
I'm looking forward to this DVD, indeed. Those songs are going to sound great in DTS - if the US release doesn't drop it in favour of a french track for Canada.

I remember seeing all of these extras contained. I actually think I argued with someone about this who eventually posted the spec sheet that BV advertised. I think it's guaranteed to have the same extras.

wow, I am surprised that your "PAL speed-up" aversion is not mentioned in your first post.

Besides the fact that I already own the screener version...i would have no reason to mention my hatred for it. But I thank you for bringing it up. That'll help me the next time someone complains that I bring it up too much. You just proved that i don't!

first review I've seen for it. This will almost def. be a reference disc for both picture and sound.
