I must have missed something. It came out ealrier this year aka 1/28/03 and now I cannot buy it anywhere online (or in town for that matter). Whats the deal. I did not see it on the re-release post on this thread. Did they just do a limited run? Will I have to pay outm y nose for this disc?

I was hoping that some of you out there might know cause this film collector is mighty confused.

Picked my copy up from Columbia House right before it went OOP. Haven't seen it for a while. It's rumored to be re-released when Gods and Generals gets released later this summer. I'm hoping to see a Gettysburg SE released when the Gods and Generals director's cut is released next year (at least, that's the rumor)

Gettysburg did not just come out at the beginning of this year. They may have had a price reduction prior to it going out of print where they lowered the price and the place you saw this at had it listed as a preorder. Gettysburg came out around 2-3 years ago...

Hmmm... Gettysburg was released over 2.5 years ago (on 12/05/00). The date you are giving is roughly the time it went out-of-print, not when it was released.

According to a Warner chat, there are 'legal problems' surrounding this title.
