Amazon doesn't have it at all (they have NR Fullscreen and R Widescreen) BestBuy and DVDPlanet have R rated, but Not Unrated. Is this version just so much widely preferred that they cannnot keep it in stock, or what?

I got my widescreen one at a local B&M (Blow Out Video) and I wasn't even aware there was a full-screen version floating out there. I feel lots better now

I think I figured it out - Amazon lists "Full-Screen Format" under DVD Features: Interview with director Takashi Miike. I have the disc and the interview is in fullscreen. Their listing would be clearer if it read "Interview with director Takashi Miike (Full-Screen Format)". The film itself is widescreen. Kino only released Unrated and R-rated versions, both of them anamorphic widescreen.

I got this from amazon about a week after it's release and it was the WS version.
I bought this blind just from recommendations on this board and was very excited to see it (also pissed that I couldn't find it at my local B&M that has everything)
I went into this with high expectations and can honestly say that I was not disappointed. Although the rest of the film NEVER lives up to the first 10 minutes, it was very enjoyable.
