I've been waiting a while for this one, too. I was just about to start working on converting my VHS to DVD-R. I guess I don't have to now...

Three O'Clock High ---- A Winner!
Three O'Clock High benefited from the presence of two (2) very strong positive talents:
1. Barry Sonnenfeld is listed as "Lighting Consultant"...however the film's unique camera angles (i.e. looking up out of a washing machine), and rapid dolly movements indicate his strong influence. Since there is no Director of Photography listed, Mr. Sonnenfeld may have served in this capacity. If anyone has any idea why he choose the credit of Lighting Consultant, please post a reply. (Barry Sonnenfeld had a big influence on the look of the early Coen Brother's films as well.)
2. Steven Spielberg is NOT listed as one of the Executive Producers. IMDB reports that he asked to have his name removed from the credits. Spielberg has served as an uncredited Executive Producer a handful of times.

Love this site! Love this movie!
Bro, here's the beauty about this site. I was sitting in my kitchen, eating my sandwhich thinking about films and remember a scene from Three O'Clock High. Then, a few minutes later, I'm cruising this site, and WHAT DO I SEE!!! I can't believe it!
And what's best, is that I'm not the only one to love this movie! I can't believe how much joy there is over this film coming to dvd! And I, too, considered buying the vhs!
