Any suggestions on what to look for?

I don't think that's what he's talking about.

I can't help you there. I'm in the same boat as you. I got Mind's Eye 3 years ago but didn't like it and haven't ventured into any others since that one was so... bleh.

From: Nebraska, Texas and California - Nebraxafornia?
well, the mind's eye stuff looks really good on VHS - unfortunately they compressed the HELL out of them when they made the transfer to DVD. In their defense, these were released when DVD was in its infancy... still there are no knbown plans to remaster them.

Do they HAVE to be on DVD??

On VHS there are also a couple of volumes of The Computer Animation Festival that are kinda neat-o...

I guess it would help if I said what I was looking for more or less I saw a clip at a club once ( i tried asking got no answer )
It showed amazing detailed scenes I would call them "grand" much detail and multi layered.. a lot of the ones I see are very geometrical.. a globbe melting.. the kaledoscpe patterns.. etc.. what I saw was like a robot flying tru a planet.. an explosion.. etc.. I really dont care bout the sound because i will use my own
I guess to put it in perpective the scenes look similar in grandeur to the meteor hitting the earth scene in Disney's Dinosaur..

thanks all..

The Animatrix. The "Final Flight of the Osiris" short is just jaw-dropping, and most of the other anime shorts also feature liberal use of good CG animation.
