DVD Tracking Program

I really don't know where to put this and I did not find another thread like it.

Is there a DVD tracking program that randomly generates a title? I only ask because I am a little to lazy to pick a title and I am just looking at my collection, getting sad and frustrated that I can't pick a damned title.

Anyhoo, any help is appreciated.

I don't know of any program that does this. Why not just print a list of your dvds, cut it up into individual titles, and pick one out of a hat?

...or if even that's too much work, just close your eyes and point.

Talk about a sad individual. If he can't even decide on what DVD to watch, imagine the process or length of time it takes for him to buy one.

Take all of your DVDs and throw them into the air. Put away any that don't land face up. Repeat until your are left with one DVD. Play that lucky DVD.

Why not run a random number generator that maps to your DVD list?

I have often thought this would be a good idea as well. There are plenty of times that I am not sure what I want to watch and I think that a random function would be a good way to decide. I have even looked at some random number generating programs but I have not found one that works for over 100 numbers.

This page will display one random number from 1 to 500. Changing the "max" value will change the range. This script (and lots of more random number information can be found at http://www.random.org/http.html or http://www.random.org/

Not embedded into the tracker, but should work.
