Original Leathal weapon release

Anyone know the quality of A/V on the original releases of the Lethal weapon discs??
I got them from WalMart for 7.50 each and was curious on how they look...
How much better quality are the directors cuts??

Thanx

You shouldn't have even bought them in the first place. The DC are all anamorphic and have DTS.

LW1 original is anamorphic. LW2 original is non-anamorphic even though it says it is anamorphic on the package. LW3 original is anamorphic.

quality is great, its the same as on the DC, with exception on LW2 which is not anamorphic, but other than that these are fine, i had them since 97, and they still look great, And I paid for them $19.95

I love my dirt cheap DC w/DTS. NOT a "stickler" for the original.

Unless, of course, he actually *wanted* the original theatrical version. That's the only way to get it... and some people actually prefer it.

Well the theatrical original Lethal Weapon is silver, too. But it doesn't have the red banner that says "Director's Cut" on top, naturally.
