I guess I need to be more patient. Right after posting this, I e-mailed them again. Got it in the mail the next day.

I got my T2:EE at Barnes & Noble and it came with a cardboard sleeve. Is that the only retailer that was selling them like that, and does anyone know why that would be?

The T2 EE metal slip cover is a limted edition. an was going to be changed over to the cardboard sleeve.. once all tins were sold.. so its not just Barnes & noble most stores i have gone to only have the card board sleeve now... so if you want a tin cover start looking.. cause they are getting hard to find.
