Gregory Peck dead at 87

Man what a legacy he leaves. I'll never forget seeing him in To Kill a Mockingbird for the first time or in Cape Fear wrestling Robert Mitchum. The world has lost a great person and an incredible actor.

Wow, that's too bad. My prayers and thoughts to his family.

I just watched Roman Holiday a couple of days ago for the first time. Wonderful film.

That's sad, sad news. One of the last great actors of the black and white era. I've put off buying "Mockingbird" for years. With the AFI last week and now this, I think it's time to add it to my collection.

A great actor and a great person. As I am a lawyer, his portrayal of Atticus Finch holds special meaning for me. I am also proud to say that he attended Cal, my alma mater.

To Kill a Mockingbird is my wife's favorite film. She was taken aback about the news. A sad day indeed.

Atticus is THE great movie role model for manhood.

RIP Gregory. You'll be missed.
