Indiana Jones Preorder?

I'm new on the DVD scene, but was wondering, do most people go with the preorder because that's the better deal (lower price)? Or is it just because it's guaranteed?

Aren't most the good sales the first week of the DVD being available in stores anyway? I'm thinking of Dances With Wolves SE a couple weeks ago ($16.99 at Target).

Just wondering

This is one of the most anticipated titles of all time, I'd wait and see what the B&M's offer, it should beat anything online.

This is a niche title that will ship in limited quantities. I'm going to preorder mine to ensure that I get one.

For the most part, if you preorder from ddd, and best buy, and they lower the price, you will get the dvd at that price.

I wouldn't preorder this. Being highly anticipated I'm sure there will be tons of them all over the place at B&M stores all fighting to put the lowest price out there. Look at ET, there is still tons of copies of ET in stores and it was supposed to be off the market in January.

I'm gonna preorder this one, but I will only be doing so because I have some Amazon gift certificates and some Amazon trivia credits stored up. I figure after Share the Love, I should be able to get it for about $30 or less. I only preorder these days when i have coupons or through DeepDiscountDVD.

Does anyone have a link for the limited numbered edition with the mini-whip?

Until the day it's released. Then it's just up for order.

Okay, I know this might sound stupid, and I'm sorry, but what does B&M stand for. I see this in several posts and I can't figure out what store this is.

It stands for Brick & Mortar. It refers to a real physical store and not an online site.

I'm holding out for the limited edition 5 disc set that features the scene where Indy craps his pants when about to fight the swordsman.
